At Lamet, your safety is our top priority. These Safety Standards supplement our Community Guidelines and outline strict rules to prevent harm, exploitation, and abuse on our 18+ dating platform. We maintain zero tolerance for violations, complying with Indian laws (POCSO Act, IT Act 2000, DPDP Act) and Google Play safety policies. Prohibited Conduct (Zero Tolerance)
To keep Lamet safe:
• No sexual content involving minors or exploitation: Absolutely prohibited—nudity, pornography, grooming, child abuse material (real or AI-generated), or any minor-related exploitation. We report to authorities (e.g., NCPCR, cyber police).
• No harassment, hate, or threats: No bullying, hate speech (gender, caste, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, disability), stalking, unwanted advances, or violence incitement. Consent is mandatory.
• No sharing personal info of minors: Never post, share, or solicit details (names, photos, locations, contacts) of anyone under 18. Minors are banned from Lamet.
Reporting Violations
Empower yourself and others:
• In-App Reporting: Flag suspicious profiles, posts, chats, or users via the Report button (on profiles/posts/chats). Select category (e.g., harassment, explicit content) and add details.
• Anonymous Option: Reports can be anonymous; we investigate all credible ones.
• Timeframe: Reviews within 24-48 hours; urgent cases (e.g., minors) escalated immediately.
Blocking Users
Protect your space instantly:
• Block Feature: Go to a user’s profile/chat > Tap Block. They can’t contact you, view your profile, or appear in matches. Blocked users stay hidden forever.
• Mute Option: Silence notifications from specific users without blocking.
• Access via: Mine > Settings > Blocked Users (manage list anytime).
How We Review and Act
• Process: Automated flags + human moderators review reports for context (e.g., chat logs, patterns). We prioritize child safety and threats.
• Actions: Warning/removal (minor), suspension (7-30 days, moderate), permanent ban (severe/critical). Appeals via support@lamet.in within 7 days.
• Transparency: Post-action email summary (no sensitive details). Repeated violations escalate to permanent bans across devices/IPs.

• Verification Badges: Optional phone/photo checks for trusted profiles.
• SOS Button: In-App emergency (connects to 112 India services).
• Safety Center: Tips on safe meets (public places, share location with friends).
