At Lamet, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
This page explains how you can request account deletion and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the mobile application or by contacting our support team.

Option 1 – Delete from the App

Open the Lamet mobile application
Navigate to Settings
Select Delete Account
Confirm your request
Path:
App → Settings → Delete Account

Option 2 – Request Account Deletion via Web

You may submit an account deletion request here:

Please provide:
Your registered email address or phone number
Your username or profile ID (if available)

Our support team will verify your identity and process the deletion request.

    Request Account Deletion

    You can request account deletion without logging into the app.






    What Data Will Be Deleted

    When your account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

    • Profile information (name, bio, age, preferences)
    • Profile photos and uploaded media
    • Matches and connections
    • Messages and chat history
    • User activity related to your profile
    • Account authentication credentials

    Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

    Data That May Be Retained

    Certain information may be retained for a limited time where required for:

    • Legal compliance
    • Fraud prevention and abuse detection
    • Security monitoring
    • Enforcement of our terms and policies

    Examples of retained information may include:

    • Records related to reported abuse or violations
    • Transaction or payment records (if applicable)
    • Security logs required for fraud prevention

    Such data is stored only for the duration required by applicable laws and security policies.

    Deletion Timeline
    • Your account will be deactivated immediately after the deletion request is confirmed.
    • Permanent deletion of associated personal data will be completed within 30 days.

    Backup copies may remain in secure storage temporarily, but will be automatically removed during the normal backup deletion cycle.
